FAQs

DO YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE?

Thrive accepts all major insurance carriers including Medicare, Kaiser, and IHN. Some insurances require a patient co-pay each session, many do not. Chances are your insurance will be accepted at Thrive. Cash pay options are also available.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

For your physical therapy evaluation, we ask that you wear comfortable, modest clothing as you will likely be going through movements and some level of exercise. Athletic footwear is preferred but not required. Please wear what makes you feel comfortable.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL?

You do not need a referral to receive services at Thrive. Some insurances including Medicare will require a physician signature at some point during the course of treatment. Your private insurance may not require this. Thrive will take care of the approval process if you choose to participate in therapy prior to receiving a referral from your primary care provider.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?

Patients can expect therapy visits to last 45-60 mins with the initial evaluation nearly always lasting a full hour. Expect to be asked questions about your symptoms, demonstrate your current level of function, establish therapy goals, and participate in planning your rehabilitation. Movement is a fundamental piece of physical therapy, expect to move as much or little as you can tolerate. Together we can work through challenges and achieve new goals.

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you are not able to make your scheduled appointment, please call the clinic at 541-243-5770 to let your therapist know. We ask that you provide 24 hours notice in order to make schedule adjustments.
